Encoded variants retain their signs, groups and uncertainty marks. Width adjustments of magnitude 2 have been removed from 17 variants, with a note beside each affected spelling. Different variants are separate entries.
Previews use JSesh where it supports the complete encoding. Unsupported variants retain their exact codes and references, with insertion disabled. No substitute signs are generated.
An encoded variant may omit royal titles or cartouche enclosures. Readings, classifications and uncertainty are retained; no single spelling is presented as universal.
